Constant Pain
(to the tune of King of Pain, with apologies to The Police)

There’s a little black hole in my car today
It’s the same old car as yesterday
It’s a black hole right in the parking lot
It takes all my cash and it just won’t stop.

I’ve been stuck here before, out in the pouring rain
With the belts turning circles, they confound my brain
I guess I’m always hoping that you’ll end this drain
But it’s my destiny to be in constant pain

There’s a little black hole in my car today
      (it’s my car out there)
It’s the same old car as yesterday
      (it’s my car out there)
It’s a black hole right in the parking lot
      (it’s my car out there)
It takes all my cash and it just won’t stop
      (it’s my car out there)

I’ve been stuck here before, out in the pouring rain
With the belts turning circles, they confound my brain
I guess I’m always hoping that you’ll end this drain
But it’s my destiny to be in constant pain

It’s a fossil that’s painted that they call my car
      (it’s my car out there)
And I know well that it won’t take me far
      (it’s my car out there)
It’s a drain on my funds but don’t make a fuss
      (it’s my car out there)
When it falls apart I just take the bus.
      (it’s my car out there)

I’ve been stuck here before, out in the pouring rain
With the belts turning circles, they confound my brain
I guess I’m always hoping that you’ll end this drain
But it’s my destiny to be in constant pain

There’s a bolt on the block that keeps falling out
It’s costly fix, there’s shadow of doubt.
I love my three-five-six, but oh my Lord!
It’s a rich man’s toy that I just can’t afford
Constant pain.

I’ve been stuck here before, out in the pouring rain
With the belts turning circles, they confound my brain
I guess I’m always hoping that you’ll end this drain
But it’s my destiny to be in constant pain

Constant pain.
Constant pain
Constant pain
My Porsche is constant pain.
